Description
Double Pilot Valve designed to operate cylinders and pneumatic actuators by utilizing a pilot air signal on both sides. Air operated valves are often ideal in areas where electrical signals would pose a hazard, or when air pressure control exists.
Applications
Double pilot valves are a crucial pneumatic components to convert electrical signals into pneumatic functions in a variety of industries such as:
- ▮Automotive industry;
- ▮Pharmaceutical industry;
- ▮Packaging industry;
- ▮Oil and gas industry;
- ▮ Also machine tools industry.
Double Pilot Valve Features
- ▮Good tightness and sensitive reaction;
- ▮Three position with three kinds of central function for your choice;
- ▮Internal hole adopts special processing technology which has little attrition friction, low start pressure and long service life.
- ▮No need to add oil for lubrication;
- ▮Integrate with the manifold to save installation space.
- ▮Single valve or multiple manifold mounted valve applications
- ▮ Finally a compact design with maximum flow.
General Information
A pilot valve is on duty to control a limited-flow control feed to a separate piloted valve. They can also be used in conjunction with solenoid valves. Piloted air valves offer a high level of control over an increased flow feed, negating the need for a much larger force.These valves are more powerful than electrical solenoids or actuators. This makes them ideal for remote and miniature applications where you need higher airflow or lower power.
Double Pilot valve can be used to isolate and simultaneously bypass a passage way for the fluid which for example should retract or extend a double-acting cylinder. There are variety of ways to have this valve actuated. Commonly using a solenoid valve , a lever can be manually twist or pinch to actuate the valve, an internal or external hydraulic or pneumatic pilot to move the shaft inside, sometimes with a spring return on the other end so it will go back to its original position when pressure is gone, or a combination of any of the mention above.
