Hydraulic metal tubes are seamless steel precision pipes that are specially manufactured for hydraulics. These tubes have standard sizes for different range of pressures with the standard diameters up to 100mm. In larger sizes, they used hydraulic pipes by directly joining the tubes but welding is not acceptable as the interior cannot be inspected.
Hydraulic tube is different from a rubber hose in many ways. This type of tube contains a braiding stainless steel sleeve inside the rubber outer covering. The sleeve also allows the hydraulic hose to withstand a great amount of pressure. The hydraulic tubes have couplings that crimp on with a special machine to create a fitting that can withstand the high pressure under the system when operates.
