JIC 37 degree Hose Fittings
JIC Hose Fittings from Centre Point Hydraulic in Dubai
JIC hose fittings consist of three components to make a tubing assembly: body, nut, and sleeve. These fittings rely on metal-to-metal contact between the finished surface of the fitting nose and the inside diameter of the flared tubing to make a seal. Control takes great care in the manufacturing process to produce a flared nose surface that far exceeds published specifications. Consequently high quality finishes reduce the likelihood of leakage due to irregularities in the flared tubing.
As the fitting nose and flared tubing draw together, they will support by the fitting sleeve. which distributes the compressing load causing by the nut as it is threading onto the fitting body during assembly. Moreover, A SAE flared tube fitting system is easy to identify. First of all the sleeve protrudes out the back of the nut. This extension provides the tubing with additional support and lessens the longitudinal load on the fitting nose.

90° JIC Female 37° Seat Compact
JIC Compact Elbow Fittings are part of the range of fluid connectors conforming to the SAE J514 and MIL-DTL-18866 standards. The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) specifies a 37° angle flare or seat to use with high-pressure hydraulic tubing. They are commonly referring to as JIC couplings. The JIC 37° flare male will mate with a JIC female.

JIC Female 37° Seat Slip-on Nut
The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) specifies a 37° angle flare or seat to use with high-pressure hydraulic tubing. They are commonly referring to as JIC couplings. The JIC 37° flare male will mate with a JIC female only. Both JIC male and female fittings have straight threads and a 37° flare seat. The seal is made on the 37° flare seat. Some sizes have the same threads as the SAE 45° flare. Carefully measure the seat angle to differentiate.
