Hydraulic SAE Flanges is a range of high-pressure hydraulic flange that is in accordance with SAE J518 standards. The acronym SAE stands for Society of Automotive Engineers. These flanges are useful on hydraulic systems in many fields such as shipbuilding, mobile hydraulic equipment, machine tools, earth moving machines, etc., and where there is the passage of oil under pressure.
The template consists of clearly marked slots for SAE Code 61, SAE Code 62, and Caterpillar 4-bolt flanges. You can match the specific connector with the corresponding identification slot. However, even with proper training, it still requires time and close attention to distinguish one type of flange from another.
To help avoid mistaking 4-bolt flanges for one another, the Centre Point Hydraulic prepared the accompanying table, which summarizes dimensions of the different types and sizes of the 4-bolt flanges.
